This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or contact forms.

The site is static HTML. There is no form, account, analytics or tracker on any page.

The short answer

What this site collects

No information is collected through the site itself.

  • This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • It runs no analytics, no measurement tag, no tag manager, and no advertising pixel.
  • It has no form, no search box, no newsletter, no login, and no upload.
  • It embeds no video, no map, no social widget, and no chat widget.
  • It stores nothing in your browser and it does not fingerprint your browser.

There is one script on the site. It opens and closes the menu on a narrow screen and marks the current page in the navigation. It is served from this site, it makes no network request, and it writes nothing down.

The site works with JavaScript turned off. Turning it off changes how the menu opens and nothing else.

What your browser requests

One request leaves this site.

Loading a page requests the page itself, two stylesheets, one small script, and two typefaces. Everything but the typefaces comes from this site.

The typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Every page links to a stylesheet at fonts.googleapis.com and to the font files it names at fonts.gstatic.com. Your browser fetches them directly from Google.

That is a request from you to Google, so Google receives your IP address and the ordinary information any web request carries, such as which browser and operating system you are using. The firm does not see that request, does not receive anything derived from it, and has no account or property that reports on it. What Google does with the request is governed by Google's own terms, not by this page.

Both font stacks name ordinary system typefaces as fallbacks, so if you block that request the site loads in a typeface already on your device and every page still reads.

There is no other third-party request anywhere on this site. The outbound links on the sources page go to government websites, but nothing is requested from those sites until you click one.

Writing to the firm

Email is not a secure channel.

There is no form to submit. An email you send goes to the firm's mailbox and is read there.

Ordinary email is not confidential in transit or at rest. It passes through mail providers at both ends and is stored on both. Mail sent through an employer's account, device, or network can be read by that employer. Assume that anything you send by email could be seen by someone other than the firm.

Two consequences follow, and they matter more than anything else on this page.

  • Do not write from a work email address, a work computer, or a work phone.
  • Do not send confidential or privileged information until the firm confirms in writing that it can receive it. A first message is not privileged, and information sent before an engagement is in place may not be treated as confidential.

If a matter goes further, the firm will tell you how to reach it by a means other than open email before you send anything sensitive.

Retention

How long the firm keeps a message

The firm has not published a retention period for unsolicited messages, and this page will not invent one.

Until the firm publishes one, assume that an email you send is kept. That is the assumption that protects you, and it is the only one this page can honestly offer.

The limits of this page

What this page does not say

This page describes the code of this website, which can be read and checked. It does not describe anything the firm has not decided.

Server logs
This site is served as static files by a hosting provider. The firm has not published a policy covering whatever request logs that provider keeps, and this page does not claim that there are none.
Data-protection regimes
The firm has not published a policy under the GDPR, the CCPA, or any other data-protection regime. Nothing here is a statement of compliance with any of them.
Rights requests
No data controller address, data protection officer, or rights request procedure is published on this site, because none is published. Write to the firm at the address on the contact page and say what you are asking for.

This page describes the site as it is actually built. If a script, a form, an embed, a cookie, or any measurement tool is ever added, this page is rewritten in the same change.

Next step

Read what not to send before you write.

The firm would rather hear from you carefully than quickly. The contact page sets out what to send, what not to send, and what happens after you write.

Do not send confidential information until the firm confirms that it can receive it.
